Internationalization

Over the past few years, the State University of Ceará (UECE) has established connections with institutions in countries across all continents. This reach is the result of the efforts of our professors and students to strengthen relationships with the world. UECE has thus undergone a rapid internationalization process in recent years, as evidenced by the increase in its international partnerships.
The UECE internationalization plan has three main objectives:

>Facilitate a greater space for experiencing interculturality, where mutual respect for differences allows for constructing a culture of peace among the various members of the international academic community. The exchange between individuals from different cultures and countries enables a humanistic education focused on a planetary consciousness, understanding that we all inhabit the same home.

>Expand the spirit of scientific cooperation among researchers from UECE and abroad, increasing the impact and international visibility of the research.

>Encourage partnerships that promote technological and social innovation for the development of the State of Ceará within the spirit of knowledge exchange among different nations and the reduction of regional inequalities.

The aim is to create a multicultural and multilingual space for exchanges between different nations that enhances the education of our students towards mutual respect among peoples, a culture of peace, and the overcoming of regional inequalities. In the last four years, in line with the university’s internationalization plan, we have highlighted the following international exchanges:
