Scientific Journals and new deadlines: International Conference on Green Chemistry and Sustainable Engineering (Barcelona,Spain).
It is with great pleasure that we launch a new call for submission of abstracts to the International Conference on Green Chemistry and Sustainable Development (www.greenchemse.com), which will be held on July 29-31, 2014 in Barcelona (Spain).
To the date, we have received a large number of abstracts from up to 19 countries. As requested by many authors, the deadline for abstracts submission has been extended till April 25th 2014. Please see below for further details on the new important dates.
Since many of the contributors have indicated their preference for oral communications, the Scientific Committee will have to select the most relevant works to be presented in one of the oral communications sessions. To ensure the quality of the oral sessions, the selection will be made on the basis of the extended abstracts. Hence, authors are encouraged to send their extended abstract for those communications to be presented orally. If only short abstract is sent, the presentation will be automatically assigned to one of the posters sessions.
We are pleased to inform you that selected papers presented at the Conference could be published in the following journals:

– Green Processing & Synthesis: http://www.degruyter.com/view/j/gps
All short abstracts will be published in the Conference e-book and CD-ROM. At the authors’ choice, the extended abstract that are not accepted for publication in the referred journals will be published in a separate book dealing with the main topics of the Conference. Kindly note that submitting an extended abstract is mandatory for those authors that aim at presenting their results as an oral communication. Nevertheless, these extended abstracts will be published by the organizers only if authors agree to do so.
As indicated above, the deadline for sending abstracts has been extended. The remaining important dates have been modified accordingly for works received after February 13th:
– Abstracts submission: April 25th 2014
– Acceptance notification: May 12th 2014
– Extended abstract submission (optional): May 26th 2014
– Information on oral or poster decision: June 2nd 2014
– Reduced fee registration: May 25th
– Payments from May 25th will be 500 Euros for all participants
This edition of the congress also aims at creating an area for companies, whose activity is related to the main topics of the congress, so that they may expose their products, services, innovations and/or investigations.
